展示構成は、第1部で、《私たちの民主主義の奇妙な花》を中心に、2002年から2006年にかけて制作されたメル・チン氏の代表作を紹介する。

チン氏は破壊の象徴である爆弾を「民主主義の花」として提示することで、それを見上げる鑑賞者に現代社会の矛盾について再考を促す。

第2部では、初期作品からヒロシマのために制作された最新作まで、メル・チンの50年以上にわたる創作活動を紹介。
